Giving It Another Go ...

It's been a couple of years.
When I first started this blog, I was just getting into facebook, websites, picturetrail and then decided I should add a blog. It seemed a natural course of progression and I thought I might have something to write about that someone might find interesting enough to read.  Then I got cold feet, didn't think I had enough to say and as I perused all the other wonderful blogs I liked to visit and read, felt like I couldn't begin to compete in the blogosphere. What did I think I was doing ?  Over the past couple of years, alot has happened and I have often clicked on this here little blog of mine and felt I started this, why can't I continue it and not worry about comparing my blog, writing or photography skills to all the other beautiful blogs I read ? I would get cold feet again and felt like I really didn't know what the heck I was doing anyway, so I won't go there.
And I haven't for over 2 years .... until now.
In my first post, I said I wanted to start the year off looking forward to good times in a difficult economy and so I entered into this technical world with high hopes. I have secretly followed many wonderful blogs and although I am not the writer, designer or decorator that they are, I figured I could give it a shot.
So that's what I'm going to do. Give this blog another shot, have another go at it and start using those crayons that God gave me to start coloring outside the lines again and do my best to come out the other side all the better for it. I still have alot to learn here again and I hope y'all out there will come along for the ride with me !

These photographs were taken in our booth at The Country Spirit Antique Show we did in Arcola, Illinois this past March.  I'll post pictures and tell you about the antique shows we do as well as some of the things my other half, David, and I make.  We have a show in Noblesville, Indiana, A Simpler Thyme, coming up May 4th that we are working on presently and will post photos from that show when we get things set up.
It's been a long and difficult winter and now, thankfully, spring is upon us and it can only get better from here !
Until next time ...
